Liberty Flights XO e-liquids do not contain diacetyl or, acetyl propionyl nor any artificial colours in any of their XO e-liquids. Liberty Flights take product quality and safety very seriously. 

Liberty Flights uses high-grade quality ingredients. PG, VG and nicotine are all pharmaceutical grade and flavourings are food grade. The e-liquids are Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) tested at an independent UKAS accredited laboratory to ensure that they are free from diacetyl (DA) and acetyl propionyl (AP). The accredited laboratory uses GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice). Good Manufacturing Practice is the standard required to conform to legislation covering pharmaceutical manufacture and testing.

Diacetyl and Acetyle Propionyl, are used in food and beverage manufacturing for their buttery taste and aroma. Currently, available data does support that there is a risk associated with the inhalation of diacetyl and acetyl propionyl at high levels. The negative impact of these chemicals was first found in microwave popcorn workers who were exposed to these chemicals. Affected workers developed ‘popcorn lungs’, a type of inflammation and fibrosis of lung tissue, which leads to a permanent reduction in lung function.
